Recent Photgraphs taken for Experimental Art

Here are some recent photographs taken for my Experiemntal Art project last year. My aim was to collecvt a series of connected photgraphs that showed different steretypes. My aim was to express that no one fits into just one category and that it is awfully limiting. We all have many sides to our personality.

Recent Photographs

For a few days now I have been looking at recent photographs and works of mine to help inspire me on the publication I wish to create for this subject. I am thinking of possibly drawing from past works and expanding on their ideas or the elements of design I like.

Here are some images taken from the past, which inspire me. They are mostly based on nature, recreation and family, which are all extremly important values in my life.

Week 1

2009 has started off to be one eventful and terribly dramatic year. It has continued to be rather chaotic at VU University with  the closing of Sunbury and Melton VU Campus and the cutting off of teachers and courses. It has been filled with drama,  petitions, angry emails, meetings and photo shoots for the Sunbury paper. I believe it is only going to continue to be filled with drama, protests,  strikes and frustrated students and teachers. However, at times like this it is worth having art and drama in my life as an emotional outlet, a way to keep positive and the mind occupied. I have began to appreciate the imagination, the power of inspiration and the pursuing of ones passions even more. That is how I came up with the title of my blog, "Bec's- Inspiration & Imagination". It will also help remind me of it's importance throughout my life and this course of "digital publication."
